The Company is a company specialized in the field of the manufacturing and sale of costume jewelry and precious metals, the design and creative consulting in the field of jewelry and fashion accessories, and the development and sale of jewelry and fashion accessories products.

 

Article 2 – OBJECT

This Privacy Policy is intended to explain how the personal data of customers or prospects ("customers/prospects", "you", "your/your") are collected and processed by the Company ("we", "us" and "our").

We recognize that one of our most valuable assets is the trust placed in us by our prospects and customers. Accordingly, data protection and privacy is a critical issue for us, and we make every effort to:

- be transparent about the data we collect and how we use it;

This privacy policy (the "Policy") applies to all processing carried out by Sapias of your personal data and those of our customers or prospects in general.

 

Article 3 – Data collection and purpose

As part of the activity of the site, the publisher of the site (hereafter designated as the “publisher”) may need to collect the personal data transmitted:

Directly by the user: title, name, first name, postal address, country of residence, date of birth, e-mail, username/password, telephone number, bank details, etc.;

Or indirectly: data relating to the connection (type of connection used, IP address, mobile telephone operator, etc.), navigation (statistics of the pages viewed, activity or inactivity rate, etc.), the use of services provided by the site, interactions with the advertisements offered, transactions and invoicing (order history, etc.).

Article 4 –Data Retention

To meet its legal obligations or to have the necessary elements to assert its rights, the publisher will archive the personal data under the conditions provided for by the regulations.

The legality of the processing carried out by the publisher results from:

The contract concluded with the user for the purposes of providing the services;

Or with the express consent of the user, who can withdraw it at any time;

Or the legitimate interest of the publisher (commercial interest, justified, balanced, and not infringing on the user's privacy);

Or the law.

The retention period of personal data varies depending on the purpose of its collection.

Most of the personal data is kept for a period of 5 years from the last user activity on the site, then archived with restricted access for an additional period for specific reasons authorized by law (payment, guarantee, disputes, etc.). They are then deleted.

 

Article 5 – RECIPIENT OF THE DATA

Only authorized persons within Sapias can access your data. However, for the maintenance or hosting of our website, for the keeping of our accounts our service providers may have access to your data. In the same way, to ensure the sending and the delivery of your orders, we are brought to transmit some of your co-ordinates (name, first name, email, address of delivery, telephone number) to our providers. 

We take appropriate measures to ensure that our subcontractors process your personal data in accordance with the regulations on the protection of personal data.

These measures include signing a data processing contract which requires the subcontractors, among other things, to process your personal data only on our instructions, not to engage a second-tier subcontractor without our consent, to take adequate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your personal data, to ensure that persons authorized to access the data are subject to confidentiality obligations, to return and/or destroy your personal data at the end of their assignment or contract, to submit to audits and to provide us with assistance in following up on your requests to exercise your rights in relation to your personal data.

 

Article 6 – TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

We may transfer your personal data to our service providers outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). Some recipients who process your personal data on our behalf may transfer your personal data outside the EEA to a country that does not provide an adequate level of protection for your personal data. Where such transfers occur and the country or third party does not have an adequacy decision from the European Commission, an appropriate transfer agreement is put in place to protect your personal data.
